Buying a Car Without Hassle

Don’t you hate buying a car and then being told that you could have paid less for it somewhere else? That has happened to me a number of times and it’s all because I never haggle – the sticker price is what I pay, just to avoid the hassle of arguing the price down or looking at several dealerships. And it seems I am not alone; most of us do the same.

Kiplinger dot com suggests a solution to the problem, however. In an article entitled Hate to Haggle? Here’s Help, Mark Solheim writes about buying services that will obtain bids from several dealerships, allowing you to choose the one that suits you best.

There are free services that do the haggling for you but, like most things, it seems you get what you pay for. It’s probably best to pay a fee and be sure that you’re getting the best deal around.

I don’t know about you, but it’s a service that I need desperately and would be happy to pay for!
